I really wish some developer out there would take a couple of ideas from the film Inception and make a VR-game.
Just seeing architectures/landscapes literally bending, shaping into different forms in VR would be a spectacle.
Friend of mine is already upgrading his PC for this, he say's it'll cost him ( PC alone ) upwards to $500-$800+. Determined to get one of these.
Developers need to think about doing a totally new R(X?)-rated game for DOA since it's heading in that direction.. a lot of adult fans of the series would certainly approve.
The game as it is has reached it's peak or maybe needs fresh ideas to push it in a different direction.
Basically it's just fresh new ideas, some tweaking with the approach but end product is all about the new and original casts' of character development, better/broader cinematic theme.
With Oculus, Vive you definitely need to upgrade your PC to get the best out of VR-headsets, meaning more costs added ($$$). Honest truth.
With PSVR just get the game or do a bundle deal.
Photo reminds me of scene from Totoro ( with Mei ) inside the hollows of the camphor tree.
360 degree videos - VR headsets - VR gloves. will be talked about more often until it hits mainstream.
*360 degree video and *virtual reality are going to be what people with mobile phones, consoles, PC are going to put their interest in within the next couple of weeks/months.
Think film makers' and those aspiring to be one will adopt this tech - advertising, documentaries, art/concept, 2D/3D live action and animation films.
Which they offered stuff that you can actually use when going in a adventure.. like a UC4 compass, a UC4 LED flashlight or something.
Truly felt I was watching real people not just a couple of CGI-created characters.
Trailer was quite mesmerizing honestly.
Sony hinted that it could be priced close to a basic PS4 500G console which presently is around the $360 mark..
.. so most likely just the stand alone PSVR ( no bundle ) = $350 to $380 at least.
With the release of Samsung Galaxy S7 which can do a 360-degree video/photos that can be viewed using VR-headsets, I think the prospects of VR price going down will likely happen more quickly I believe.
With so many mobile users', word of mouth about VR/tech/headset will grow bigger and demand I think will push prices down in a much shorter span.
It will be inevitable.
Kojima clearly want to start afresh and that is just common sense and the only appropriate way to deal with all past projects/frustrations.
QTE ruined The Order: 1886. Overall it was a great game for me.
Wish Sony would give them a chance to do a sequel.
The end definitely needed a lot of answers, so many conspiracies within that needs to be delved upon more.
Whether the screen is an OLED/Super HD or 4K the only resolution you'll be getting is still 1080p.
That is fact. Nearly 98% of TV news, programs, documentaries only output a max of 1080i with most using 720p. So unless you have a mastered in 4K blu ray an " enhanced 1080p " is the best resolution you'll be getting.
Experienced working in a small and also huge animation studio and have to say prefer the smaller set-up.
The smaller studio has friendlier atmosphere and the end product is way better because you know everyone who has poured their hard earned hours on it.
Bigger studio felt a lot like a factory and much more stressful even with the amount of people working on any projects.
Budget doesn't even matter because it's all worked out whether the studio is sm...
In the interview del Torro was saying he'll do whatever Kojima says and will follow him as long that it motivates him and doesn't care about money or success, it's all about fun.
I just positively think in the very near future, while Kojima is busy setting up his studio will he will also collaborate an idea, a new game or film with del Torro.
Think that is a very good option to have., also saw a Sennheiser video clip doing various experimental True VR-headphones using a hosts' of VR-headsets to trial.
I'll check this out., it looks alright.
This would be sending the wrong precedent. Fashion should not dictate unless it's a period piece.
The "look" of the game doesn't necessarily depend on fashion alone, story or theme is always first, there is also atmosphere, palette/texture to consider before you design the characters' and what they're going to be seen wearing.
